Gesu School

24.8 kW

Gesu School added solar to its electric grid in the summer of 2018. The students at Gesu School entered a contest in March 2018 espousing the benefits of solar energy, especially with the high rates of asthma amongst the Gesu students. Through a video put together by the Gesu students, the the administration was convinced to fund this project with grant funds from UAW-Ford to build a 68 panel array on the roof of the gymnasium which will cover 20% of the school’s electrical needs.
